About Christine
Christine is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Pennsylvania and has been practicing in the field for over ten years. Christine has a range of experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples across outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care. She has worked in community mental health, private practice, school and hospital settings.
More recently, Christine has been working within a health system, supporting women across the lifespan, with particular focus on the perinatal population. Christine has held different clinical and leadership roles over the years and is skilled in curriculum development and teaching on various topics pertaining to mental health and wellness.
Christine has specialty in perinatal mental health including loss and infertility, childhood trauma and attachment, depression and anxiety disorders, interpersonal difficulties, and matters of faith and spirituality. Christine has specialized training in Schema Therapy from The International Society of Schema Therapy Institute. Schema therapy is a comprehensive, evidence-based psychotherapy that promotes more adaptive thoughts, emotions and relationships by looking at childhood experiences.
Christine is also in the process of becoming an EMDR Trained Therapist through the EMDR Institute. Christine is trained in Prepare/Enrich, a premarital and marital tool to strengthen relationships. Additionally, she incorporates strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support the overall needs of patients and to support their flourishing in the different spheres of life.
